We want to share a wonderful example of our Lebanon High School Yellowjacket Spirit.

When LHS found out Haley was diagnosed with cancer they immediately set out to raise money. The students came up with an idea to have a Hat for Haley day- students were allowed to wear a hat if they paid a $1.00. This had a great response but it didn't stop there. The students set about collecting money during lunch periods and walked in the local Christmas parade. In three days time they collected over $2000 for Haley. Once again - it didn't stop there - tonight we attended the LHS Christmas concert put on by the LHS choirs (of which Haley is a member) and they passed Santa hats through the crowd. This time they collected over $700.  This is an amazing example of a community and a school that cares. We cannot find words to express our gratitude to each and every faculty member, parent, and student that helped in this endeavor.  This is an outstanding example of our school's "Jacket Spirit "

smilies/cool.gif I got goosebumps and choked up when I read this. That is so totally awesome. Even in times as hard as they are now for everyone, this country still knows what is most important...sticking together and loving our neighbors. God bless America...as well as Haley and her family.

Hey Haley, I am still having trouble emailing you directly so, just wanted you to know that my family and I are still praying for you. I am still trying to track down the healing CD's I would like to give you. I hope you had a good Christmas. I am so sorry to hear about the fire at your father's home. What a tragedy. I want you to know that we are all praying and pulling for you and your family. I hope you take comfort in that as you start your next round of chemo and radiation. If you need to just talk, please feel free to call me or my daughter Sierra, she is following your progress closely too. Continuing to believe for your miracle. The Angst Family
